Baby announcements are very personal things, some people don’t like to make a fuss keeping the announcements very simple between friends and family, while others like to shout it from the rooftops! When I found out I was pregnant a few months ago Nik and I decided that we wanted to do a little something, so after our 12 week scan we did a little photo shoot with our converse and some baby converse. We got the photo made up into cards and put them in with the christmas cards. We had waited nearly 5 years to be able to share such good news that we wanted to recognise the fact!
Today I am delighted to be able to share with you this super cute birth announcement video from Hannah Millard. It’s lovely to see a couple want to celebrate such happy news with the world! How did you announce your pregnancy? I’d love to hear your story!

Jade contacted me to ask if I’d help her make an announcement and she had a few ideas, showing me some inspiration involving feathers and we went from there. They brought along their adorable dog Charlie who was just in his element and loved playing in the woods. Jade is a lifestyle photographer herself, so it was awesome collaborating on this very special photo and video shoot. We managed to make a very chilly January day feel cosy and snuggly.
