I am so excited to share these maternity photography images with you today. When I fist opened the file all I saw was amazing COLOUR. It’s so lovely to see a maternity shoot that is relaxed fun and full of colour. Massive thanks today for 1 Chapter Photography sending these to us to share with our lovely Boho readers.
I will hand over the blog to Jean-Marc from 1 Chapter to tell you more about the shoot
I haven’t done many pregancy shoots before, but I think it is such an amazing moment for the couples, such a special event that I enjoyed them very much. When Lydie and Thomas contacted me, I was very excited. We discussed this at length, to come up with ideas that would represent them as a couple and as a new family to be. They definitely wanted to avoid all the cliches, like pink themes, etc. I wanted to celebrate the couple around their pregnancy and not only focus on the baby bump, so in the end it was more like a Love shoot with a lovely belly as a bonus!!! The shoot was brilliant, it took place in Richmond Park, wild and sweet at the same time. They are a beautiful couple, they were very easy to photograph and their happiness was so wonderful to capture…everything that I love! So happy and proud to be the one who shoot their first pregnancy!!!! The baby girl was born a couple of weeks ago and I can’t wait to photograph her
The Proud Parents
We both knew we wanted a pregnancy shoot since the day the test turned positive! The whole pregnancy has been a bliss and we were so excited to immortalise this amazing journey! Jean-Marc had so many creative ideas and made plenty of suggestions for a cool set ahead of the shoot. We ended up going for a picnic set with a pink and orange colour scheme, we absolutely loved the way Jean-Marc laid the set out in Richmond park. Having never had any livestyle photography experience before, we had a look at
Pinterest to get some inspiration on what to wear and copy some cool poses. The shoot went so quicky and the three of us had a lot of fun. We love the result and will treasure these pictures forever. We can’t wait to show them to baby girl when she grows up! Next on our to do list: have Jean-Marc come over to shoot baby girl turning 1 month
