
With the Easter Holidays upon us I thought it would be a great time to search the internet and find some really great things to do to keep the kids entertained for the Easter Holidays. I usually start the search a few weeks before the holidays and plan out what I am going to do with my daughter. I over plan and have lots of activities for those rainy days too. I have some great ideas here from all over the country and I have searched for activities for a range of ages. IDEAS FOR THE CHILDREN AT EASTER

The national media museum have a range of activities for children and also have a cinema playing various movies though out the two weeks.

For the smaller children there is a tour of Cebeebies. Over Easter it is on at Birmingham, Liverpool, Cardiff and London. I can’t recommend this enough! I took Fearne when she was a few years younger and it worth every single penny. It’s quite pricey but like I say worth every penny!

I visited the Trinity Centre in Leeds on Saturday and there were so many activities happening which are continuing into the school holidays. A few activities include and indoor beach, face painters and an Easter Egg Hunt.

I have never experienced the egg hunt myself but by looking at the website and reviews it sounds like a fantastic day out.
Keighley Steam Railway, Keighley, West Yorkshire – www.kwvr.co.uk
We are regular visitors to the Keighley Steam Railway. If you child likes trains this will be the perfect activity for them. You can take your own food and drinks on the train so you can have a picnic on board. If the weather is nice you can hop off at Haworth and have a look at the lovely shops on Main Street and see Bronte County.

A great website that you can search for your area to find out where the Frozen Sing a Longs are. This film is still a top favourite and can you believe it the film is now a year and a half old?
Harewood House, Leeds, West Yorkshire – www.harewood.org
A beautiful stately home with delightful gardens and lots of walks around the area. I would recommend this for children per 8 as some of the walks can be a few miles long. Harewood House looks stunning in the spring time and you may even spot a few deer along the way.

When we visit London with Fearne I often use this website to see what is on in and around London for the children. There is so much information on this site that I am sure there is the perfect activity for your family.

I love this place just as much as my daughter. Billy Bobs is an American Ice Cream pal our with a great indoor and outdoor playground for the children. It does the best pancakes in the area and is fun for all the family.
