Unless you have been hiding under a rock you will know that it is Valentines day this Saturday. I have to admit I’m not a massive fan of this love filled day. As a married person I feel that every day should be valentines day, it shouldn’t be restrained to just one day of the year. In my single days I used to hate it, as it proved to be another reminder of my incredibly bad taste in men. These days Nik and I do something small to celebrate, the days spent in the generic restaurant filled with other couples always felt like a romantic conveyor belt, so after a couple of years of disastrous valentines nights out we decided to keep them at home, normally with the obligatory M&S Valentines special! Now with Dexter I have no idea what we will do, but the leat I can do is get him a card.
