Good Morning to you all. I hope you are all well. It’s going to be a lovely day today at Boho HQ as Kelly and I get to meet up to discuss business plotting and plans for the future. I can’t wait! We chat every day over email and it is lovely however, it’s really great to meet up now and again to discuss all things business as well as a lot of personal talk too. I am sure we are going to have a lovely day.
Todays post has been brought to us by Lucy from Ever Thine Photography. A lovely baby shoot. I am sure you will agree that this little cherub looks adorable! And what a gorgeous dog!

A few words from Lucy
Taking these photographs of Baby Albie was so much fun! I met him and his lovely mum Katie whilst I was doing an exhibition in MoonKo in Sheffield at the beginning of October and arranged the baby portraits with her. I don’t have a studio – I like to try to make my photographs as organic and natural as they can be, so I headed to the family’s house for the shoot. We set up an area for Albie to sit and play in his kitchen, where he was so comfortable and happy and where there was gorgeous wintery light streaming in through the french windows at the back of the house. I focussed on photographing him just being him, rather than trying to manufacture anything – he is definitely already cute enough and didn’t need posing! He sat happily for a whole hour, which I’m not sure would have happened if he had been in a studio or somewhere he wasn’t so familiar with. We had great fun – and even included a few outfit changes as well as cameos from Albie’s best pal Flash the basset hound. Family portraits are lovely in any season, but in the run up to Christmas the photographs can be used as lovely gifts to send out to family and friends and it is a good marker if family’s have yearly baby portraits taken.”

A few words from the family
I very luckily met Lucy in a shop in Sheffield where she had an exhibition of some of her photos which were stunning. I chatted to her and she said that she could do some baby photos for us. I really liked the way that Lucy was able to come to our house – as I am not keen on a ‘studio’ look of photos and more importantly I wanted our basset hound Flash to get in on the action! We just did the photo shoot in our kitchen and so Albie was very relaxed and happy and really enjoyed Lucy taking his photos! We are delighted with the results and I couldn’t choose favourites from the photos that Lucy took as I loved them all. If we have anymore photo shoots I will be calling Lucy again!
