Today I have a gorgeous baby shoot for you courtesy of Wendy & Damion from Bridson Photography. Henry was 11 weeks old when this shoot took place and as you can already see he is a natural in front of the camera! Helen and Paul what a beautiful baby boy you have. I will pass the blog over to Wendy & Damion from Bridson Photography to tell you a little more about the shoot.

When Helen and Paul asked us to take photos of their new little bundle of joy we were absolutely thrilled. We’d never done a baby shoot before and quite frankly didn’t know what to expect in terms of how well baby Henry would feel about us taking his picture! We were incredibly lucky, he was completely chilled out and as it happens he absolutely loved the camera.
Henry was 11 weeks old when we met him and so enthralled with the click of the shutter. It kept him intrigued long enough for us to get the photos we wanted before he had a much needed nap snuggled up in his lovely shawl specially purchased by Helen’s mum and which happens to be the same shawl seen on Prince George!Helen had initially wanted us all to go for a walk in the park weather permitting but the light in the house was fantastic so we decided to have the first photoshoot at home and to save the outdoors for when Henry is a little older. It’s always lovely to capture a family in the comfort of their own home, they tend to be much more relaxed in familiar surroundings and you really do get the best out of them.
Our style is incredibly relaxed and informal and apart from a few portraits, we like to document the session as naturally as possible. Helen and Paul were absolutely thrilled with their photos. They actually said they wish they’d asked us to photograph Henry when he was newborn as he’d already changed so much during that short time.

A few months down the line, we were invited back to photograph Henry’s Thanksgiving and Blessing. It was a really endearing service and once again Henry was on his best behaviour and loving being in the spotlight. It was also really interesting to see how this type of service differed from a more traditional Christening. We are now booked in for Henry’s first birthday party next year and can’t wait to see how much he will have changed by then. It’s so lovely to be able to capture and preserve some incredibly special moments in Henry’s life for Helen and Paul and we look forward to documenting many more of Henry’s milestones for them.
