Family Photography: The Rhoda Family Shoot

Today I have a gorgeous family shoot for you, courtesy of Ilaria Petrucci photography. Ilaria took the Rhoda family out for an evening and took advantage of the beautiful low evening light and created these lovely images. I just love the warm tones and natural shots, she has captured the family perfectly.

I get so many amazing baby and family shoots sent to me that I decided I needed to dedicate one day a week on the blog so I can share them with you properly. Our family photo shoot with Ilaria was a truly a magical evening and more than a typical family photo shoot. We always love trying to capture each precious moment and happy smile of our children’s lives we have blessed to have in order to have a better chance to keep those memories alive in the future. We do struggle though now with our three little angels to keep with all agreeable at the same time to see those sweet smiles in one shot together let alone the five of us. Thus actually for a couple years we have been looking to achieve this professionally but in a fun relaxed setting. I got the chance to meet Ilaria through a mutual business contact and through a charity event where I won the auctioned prize for this photo shoot with Ilaria. I was so excited to have won this prize donated by Ilaria because I had seen an amazing wedding photo shoot she recently had done and just knew she would capture the most beautiful romantic images.

As soon both our busy schedules we were free, we all met at local park the kids where familiar with and just had a really pleasant time walking around the lake with Ilaria close to sunset on a perfect summer evening. Our son was very happy posing along with his dad. Our middle one needed her cat for comfort to start, but Ilaria soon made her feel comfortable. The little one was so excited and Ilaria became friends with her very quickly. We were not disappointed in any way when we received the imagines. We will cherish these outstanding pictures always especially as it just marks a big milestone in our marriage that week capturing a moment in time where our children are at such special ages and we have such bright hopes in the future for them. The only trouble is deciding which ones to print for our home. I can see similarly to my career that Ilaria truly loves her work which shows in her pictures. I am sure one day if she is blessed with her own little angels they will be truly proud of her artistically capturing on film precious moments like these of families and couples lives.”
